The Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) has announced an increase in prices for super petrol by Ksh 2.
In its latest price review on Petroleum products, released today Tuesday, March 2023, EPRA announced the prices for diesel and kerosene per litre will remain the same at Ksh 162 and KSh 145 respectively in Nairobi.
For Super Petrol, the price will go up from ksh177.00 to ksh179.20 per litre in Nairobi.
“The price of diesel have been cross-subsidized with that of super petrol as a subsidy of ksh23. 49 per litre has maintained for kerosene inorder to cushion customers from the otherwise high prices,” said EPRA.
The reviewed prices will be in effect from March 15, 2023 to April 14, 2023.
