The teachers service commission, commonly known as TSC is an independent body that is concerned with employment , deployment, recruitment,transfer, promotion and registration of teachers.

The commission has headquarters in all the counties and sub-counties in Kenya,with the head office located at Upper hill Nairobi.

The head of the body,is a CEO who is currently Dr Nancy Macharia,the CEO is represented at the county level by County directors of education TSC.

In the recent past different different organizations have been organising seminars and workshops to train teachers on issues related to setting and marking of KCSE.

 

 

 

For the workshops to take place,they have to be approved by the county director,and today the Country director of education has released a memo revealing that they haven’t approved any and went ahead caution Principals against releasing teachers for this workshops.

In the memo, the county director for education Nakuru country,have mentioned that they have not approve any workshop and the heads of schools should not release tutors for these workshops
