News Just In! P1 Teachers To Expect Slight Salary Changes As Per The Latest Teachers Salary Scale(TSS)2022

Teachers Service Commission (TSC) fully implemented the final phase of CBA, the pay scale of teachers has been revised and will be implemented next month.

As per the CBA agreement with TSC, there is an increase in the salaries of secondary and primary school teachers in different job groups.

Below are the job groups with the respective amount.

Grade D3

D3*

 

Grade D3 teachers are principals of sub-county boarding schools and day schools. These teachers used to get a maximum salary of ksh 77,840, but after the settlement the teachers would get a salary between Ksh104, 644 and Ksh125, 573.

Grade D2

D2*

 

Grade D2 is the deputy principal of national schools and deputy principal of sub-county boarding schools. The teachers here earlier used to get a maximum salary of 77,840, but according to the new pay scale, this group of teachers will get an average salary between SH 91,041 and SH 109,249.

Grade C4

This grade includes Senior Teacher IV and Deputy Head Teacher II. Earlier, this group of teachers had pocketed ksh47,896 monthly, but now they will start earning an average salary between ksh 24,250 to ksh27,195.
