The above exercise started on Wednesday 27th and was directed to end on 14th May. This was stated by the Education Cabinet Secretary George Magoha.
In the above registration exercise, 3 categories will register namely Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA), Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE), Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE), and KCSE Qualifying Test.
Further instructions on it from CS. Education indicates that all candidates will be registered online by their respective head teachers, and that offline registration will not be optional.
C.S. Magoha also asked the school heads to provide accurate information about students with special needs during the registration and verification of candidates.
Magoha further pointed out that the involvement of parents and guardians during the screening of KPSEA and KCPE candidates was important.
In the registration process, all schools should properly capture the names of the candidates as they will be used in other examinations.
In addition, the head of the school and the sub-county director of education to ensure the accuracy of the candidate’s true name according to the birth certificate; Gender birth year; Citizenship; Subjects entered.
Once the enrollment of students is complete no transfer will be allowed.
However, the professor said that if special cases related to illness and insecurity were brought to the notice of KNEC by SCDE, it would be handled properly.
