The 2021 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education was successfully completed last week. All students are currently waiting with great anticipation for the release of the national examinations. The marking of the KCSE examinations took effect immediately as the exams were offer.

The ministry of education is expected to take about three weeks for the release of the examination. Unlike the previous years, the ministry of education has improved it’s services by increasing the number of examiners who are marking examinations.

As examinations are being marked, the Kenya Union of Post Primary Education Teachers now demands that the Agency in charge of examination marking should raise marking fees for each script by at least fifty shillings. The increment is due to harsh economic times in the country.

If the agency will adhere to the Kenya Union of Post Primary Education Teachers’ demand, the this is good news to Teachers as the additional money will help the harsh economic times they are experiencing.
