After the Teachers Service Commission move promote teachers to secondary schools,now primary school teachers who completed their studies and acquired degrees have every cause to smile.

The teachers has been granting posting letters to p1 teachers to teach in Kenya’s secondary schools, according to TSC boss Dr. Nancy Macharia.

As per to Dr. Nancy Macharia qualified teachers have been receiving promotion letters and will be reported to their new locations soon.

Macharia goes on to say that the teachers who have been assigned are qualified and meet all of the requirements for secondary school teaching.

She claims that the teachers who have bachelor’s degrees in education and are thus qualified to teach in secondary schools.

This new action by the Teachers Service Commission will go a long way toward addressing the long-term challenge of teachers in the country’s educational institution
