TSC commission creates more than 10,000 job vacancies annually.

TSC acknowledges that it has a daunting task of ensuring that school are well staffed that is under the backdrop of meagre finance that can hardly ensure the already employed teachers are well remunerated.
The commission has released a list of counties that are experiencing a cute shortage of teachers both in primary and secondary.
They include:
Mandera county,
Wajir and west pokot,
Kitui,
Kilifi,
Bomet,
Bungoma,
Siaya,
Murang’a
Narok.
The commission has come up with affirmative action that has seen marginalized area get teachers and retain them in those areas.
