As we know the new education curriculum changed the primary National examination from Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) to Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA).
Due yo this, the Kenya National Examination Commission as recently cautioned teachers countrywide to be careful when registering grade six pupils
According to reports, all teachers are required to provide correct details for the learners with special needs to the examination board so that to prevent future problems on registered details.
According to KNEC, teachers are supposed to categorize children with special needs and register their details according to the instructions that was provided.
The information will be used to known number of pupils with special needs, those with poor background and those requiring urgent assistance in their respective schools.
The registration will be expected to end on 14th May 2022. This means that headteachers have few days remaining to register their schools.
Thus they should early before the door of registration is closed.
