The ministry of education has been at the forefront to ensure that the Kenya Education system is moving from 8-4-4 education system to Competency Based Curriculum (CBC), with this regard the ministry of education has prepared the Grade six students to tackle the Kenya Primary Education Assessment (KPEA) by the end of this year.

Equally the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has now prepared to train 60,000 teachers who will teach Junior Secondary Schools by next year.

A huge win for the ministry of education over CBC as the Education Stakeholders take the new directives. The Education Stakeholders are now making presentations at the launch of training on Competency Based Curriculum (CBC) for Junior Secondary School teachers at Kenya Institute of Special Education. This is good news especially to the ministry of education.
