Working for TSC does not guarantee that you will work how you wish; instead, you will be required to follow instructions and other rules established by your employer.
A teacher may be dismissed from the service under the following circumstances:
All teachers are urged to follow the instructions provided by their employers to stay out of trouble. If a teacher breaks TSC rules and regulations, for example by engaging in sexual misconduct with a student, they risk being fired.
Teachers are urged to use legitimate, original documents from top institutions when applying for jobs because if you are found guilty of using forged documents while asking for a TSC number, you will be fired and convicted in court.
Teachers are required to act honorably even when they are not in the classroom because if they are found guilty of a crime within or outside of the school and are arrested or imprisoned, TSC will have no choice but to terminate their employment.
Opposing new TSC reforms
All teachers should always follow the rules set forth by their employers because refresher courses are intended to raise their level of professionalism. For example, teachers who refuse to complete new CBC training will have their salaries suspended.
If a teacher become unsound or suffers mental illness that will not enable him or her to discharge his or her duties as required by the employer can lead to being deregistered from TSC.
Case of Death
If a teacher dies he will be automatically deregistered and their vacancies advertised for replacement.
All the teachers are encouraged to work as per the TSC Constitution to avoid losing jobs that they struggled hard to secure.
