The form four Candidates for 2021 who are finishing their kcse examinations today will begin enrolling in universities in June.

According to University Education and Research Principal Secretary Simon Nabukwesi , the s government will ensure that the exams are graded as soon as possible in order to facilitate university placements.

In a statement Nabukwesi said,,,“We have already engaged the teachers who will be marking the exams and asked them to report to marking centres. The preparations are ongoing well and we urge the teachers to be just to our candidates.”

Nabukwesi said this on Thursday after supervising the distribution of examination materials in Nakuru West sub-county.

He assured the Public that Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) will be ready to start placing candidates in institutions as soon as the KCSE results are released.

He further added that students joining university will be placed in June as those joining in TVETs- will be placed in September.

Nabukwesi also took time and urged all stakeholders to ensure the exam’s integrity inorder to avoid giving learners wrong results.

He further advised the candidates not to get involved in any form of cheating because they may end up on facing the full force of the law, something that will have a negative impact on their lives.
